On Tuesday Utah Representative Chris Cannon was defeated in the republican primary. His picture was featured on national newspapers as a sign of what might be this fall for incumbent lawmakers. A number of other incumbents have lost in other primaries around the country such as Wayne Gilchrest and Al Wynn of Maryland
Hillary Clinton received applause and tears as she returned to the Senate chambers today. She was honored for her historic bid for the White House that ultimately came up short.
