I love politics. I love talking about politics, absorbing news about politics, and getting feisty over politics. This blog was started by a political fiend and will be read by fiends alike. The current political environment in the United States and the upcoming election has me in fits.
As a long-time blogger in other areas of the blogosphere I have always sought to start a political blog. This past week Tim Russert passed away. Mr. Russert was a true inspiration and unique individual, even in the world of television news. His death has motivated me to start writing here in the hopes that I can somehow honor what he gave to this country.
